Seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones agreed to a one-year contract on Tuesday with the Philadelphia Eagles.

A.J. Brown, Jones's former teammate who campaigned for Tennessee to trade for him in 2021, will be reunited with the 34-year-old.

Due to a hamstring injury, wide receiver Quez Watkins was placed on injured reserve by the Eagles. On Monday, Marquez Callaway and Dezmon Patmon, two receivers, were worked out. They ultimately looked to Jones, who will be joining his fourth squad in as many years.

With 13,629 career receiving yards, Jones leads all active NFL players in receiving yards.

Jones, a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, has seven career games versus the Eagles with 50 catches for 804 yards and five touchdowns, including a touchdown that sealed the victory in 2019.

Jones holds the franchise record for receiving yards (12,896) for the Falcons.
